What is Aqualyx?

The Aqualyx product range offers a ground-breaking approach to reducing localised fat through a minimally invasive procedure. This treatment is an ideal choice for individuals looking to refine their body contours without the need for surgical interventions. By choosing Aqualyx, patients can confidently take a step towards achieving their desired body image.

Product Information

Each Aqualyx injection contains a gel-based aqueous solution, which is directly administered into subcutaneous fat through a fine needle. This targeted approach ensures that only the fat cells are affected, preserving surrounding tissues. Aqualyx is clinically tested and has been approved by relevant regulatory bodies, including the FDA. This ensures that it meets the highest standards of safety and effectiveness for fat dissolution.

Aqualyx Technology

Aqualyx was developed through rigorous scientific research and innovation and is centred on a technique known as “Aqualysis” or “Aquaplasty”. This treatment utilises a water-based solution containing a form of deoxycholic acid, a bile acid naturally produced by the body to aid the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into fatty tissue, Aqualyx disrupts the fat cells’ membranes, leading to the release of lipid content. This process allows the liquefied fat to be naturally eliminated by the lymphatic system, which promotes fat reduction at the targeted sites.

Who is an ideal candidate for Aqualyx?

Ideal candidates are those who maintain a healthy lifestyle and are near their target weight but have localised fat deposits that they want to eliminate.

Patients may experience mild discomfort during the injection(s), which can be managed with local anaesthesia. Post-treatment, some swelling, bruising, or redness might occur.
