Fat Freezing Non Surgical Fat Reduction

Experience our Fat Freezing treatments with Cool Sculpting at the Award-Winning Skin Medical

Fat Freezing with CoolSculpting

At Skin Medical we utilise CoolSculpting as the original technology developed at Harvard University. Competitor devices do not have the same safety and effectiveness data.

Fat freezing, scientifically known as cryolipolysis, is a non-surgical treatment designed to reduce fat in targeted areas of the body. This technique makes use of controlled cooling to near-freezing temperatures to target and destroy fat cells, as these cells are more vulnerable to cold than surrounding tissues.

As CoolSculpting has long lasting results, it is really important to find a practitioner who can design a treatment to sculpt your body accurately. Dr Sabika has 10 years of experience in CoolSculpting and can help to achieve your perfect shape by creating a personalised treatment plan with her expert knowledge just for you.

How Does the Treatment Work?

After a comprehensive consultation to develop your personalised plan. The skin is prepared with a gel pad to protect it from the extreme cold. The specific applicator, which varies in size and shape depending on the treatment area, is then placed on the body.

Start the treatment

Then, your CoolSculpting expert vacuums the skin above the fatty tissue into the applicator that cools the fat cells. This causes the cells to crystallise and die but doesn’t harm surrounding non-fat tissues.

After the treatment

Once the fat cells have been frozen and destroyed, the body’s immune system gradually removes these cells through its natural metabolic processes. This removal occurs over the course of several weeks.

The procedure might need to be repeated depending on the amount of fat and the desired results. During follow-up visits, practitioners assess the progress and determine if additional sessions are necessary to achieve the patient’s ambitions.
